Obsessed but rubbish is how I would describe my golf ability when I was a teenager. Through sheer determination and effort, I went from being a hacker with a huge slice to qualifying as a pro, shooting 68 & 65 to win my first pro tournament.
Very quickly, I became obsessed with coaching Golf and was lucky enough to be mentored in my early coaching days by Vivien Saunders, a British Open champion who became one of the worlds top coaches.
I have given an estimated 60 thousand lessons in 35 years and I feel excited to share with you the secrets no-one talks about that make all the difference.
Why I am doing this...
Having struggled with own golf journey, it is my mission to help people avoid the mistakes and pitfalls I fell into.
35 years of full time coaching has taught me the key differences in those who have great success and the ones that don’t and I want to share it with as many people as I can.

1983-1988
Went from being obsessed but rubbish with a huge slice to winning the club championship, getting my handicap down to 4 and becoming an assistant pro
1988-1993
Shot 68 & 65 to win my first Pro tournament (Got to play with my hero, Seve) and was lucky enough to be mentored on coaching by one of the worlds best Vivien Saunders.
